SUBKLUE
Subklue currently resides in Blacksburg, Virginia and as a co-founder of Boogieburg.com has been active in the local music scene for over 6 years. Running a bi-weekly DJ event called Re:Fill at The Rivermill Map Company for over 4 years, you can expect to hear one of the most interesting varieties of music on this well known and longest running party in Blacksburg history. Among Re:Fill, Jason has been involved in booking, promoting, and throwing some of the dopest and internationally known party nights around the Blacksburg scene. Once Gaskins and Subklue started their radio show on WUVT back in the summer of 2002 their taste in music slowly started shifting to the current styles that are heard here on Boogieburg.com getting away from the more mainstream electronic music sound. Now Subklue currently resists labeling his style of music as his sets break down the barriers in a smooth and seamless fashion. Along with the rest of the Boogieburg crew, Subklue has played up and down the East Coast from NYC to ATL at parties such as Turntables on the Hudson, Club Five in DC, and has also played a pivotal role in booking some of the worlds best talent behind the decks to visit and rock the Boogieburg scene.
